Hostel B47 features accommodation with a free private parking area , linens and towels are provided , daily housekeeping and we are a non - smoking Hostel. Among the facilities at this property are  shared bathrooms/toilets, shared kitchen and dining rooms , common lounge and a tour desk, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The hostel has a Bistro where Guests can purchase  breakfast , light meals , non-alcoholic, alcoholic drinks and just a  place to just simply have a nice drink and chill out . Light snacking is available day and night on our vending machine situated  in the lobby . Likewise the Hostel has a garden and provides an outside  terrace where Guests can sit , enjoy  the weather and it is also the designated area for smokers.

    Guest rooms at B47 are fitted with all the amenities that travellers need. The Hostel provides linen and towels for free and a blackout curtains in the rooms for the benefit of the Guests. 

    Knowing that bathroom amenities play an important role in increasing guests' satisfaction, the hostel provides a hair dryer ,reading lights and a small sink  in several selected rooms. Some bathrooms have hair dryer as well .

    We have a selection of rooms according to your preference . Looking for just a bed ? We have several sharing rooms, like Mixed Dorm for 5 people or 8 People . Strictly for Female Dorm for 6 Pax . 

    We have also Private room for family , friends , couple or group of friends . Rooms are for 2 , 3 , 4  Pax . 

    For Groups , we have prepared rooms according to the number of pax . An Advance reservation is highly appreciated.

    HOSTEL B47 is a pioneer in Iceland with a pin code access system. You can access the Hostel at any time of the day or night once you are given the pin codes for the Main Entrance Door and your Room . How does it work ? simply approach us at the Reception at The Lounge  upon arrival for check in,  we will welcome you and give you the Pin Codes, guide you to the facilities of the Hostel and bring you to your room. For late check in after 11:30  pm , kindly advise us and we will send you the Pin Codes through e-mail or telephone then you can check in by yourself and we will  see you in the morning !

What time is check-in and check-out at B47?
Check-in is from 03:00 PM until 11 :30 PM and check-out is anytime but until 11:00 AM only. 
We offer to  store and keep your luggage for few hours upon check out , kindly approach the staff. .You may also request early check-in during booking , but it is subject to availability . Guests check-in after the designated periods but  must inform the Hostel through e-mail or by phone that the  Hostel will send the Pin Codes for you to enter the main door and to your room by your own . Late check in Guests must avoid noises that can disturb other Hostel Guests. Otherwise we will gladly welcome and guide you upon your check in on our designated check -in hours.  Reception at The Lounge is open from 07:00 AM until 11:30 PM everyday , we will gladly assist our Guests checking in or checking out likewise Guests needing assistance and informations.
How do I get to B47?

B47 is an easy to access from the airport. As soon as you arrive in the airport , you will see shuttle bus services that drive tourists or passengers to the Main  City of Reykjavik. . The most popular shuttle bus services are the the Airport Direct or Fly bus  . For example : Fly bus Terminal is walking distance to the Hostel ! About 15 minutes walk and you will reach Baronsstigur  47 where the Hostel stands .  Take note that the Main  Entrance of the Hostel is at the backside , the corner door and fronting our free Parking Area for the Guests. 

What is the smoking policy at B47?

B47 does not permit smoking in any of the rooms and in any part of the Hostel inside , the premises  has a very sensitive smoke alarm . But allows smoking outside the Hostel which is the terrace  with a sitting area as well. 

What is the closest train, metro, or bus station to B47?

There is no train  or metro in Iceland !  Iceland has only taxi and bus services . The closest bus station is the BSÍ Bus Terminal, 710 m away, approximately 15 minutes walk to the Hostel.

What restaurants are nearby B47?

Restaurants including Loki for an Icelandic specialty likewise the Three Coats , Eiriksson Brasserie for Italian/French cuisine, Indian restaurants around and the best one is called Austur - Indiafelagið . There are many more restaurants , cafes and fast food places surrounding the Hostel and just according to your taste buds !

Walking distance to almost everything ! shopping places is only 7 minutes walk from the Hostel and it is called Laugarvegur where you can find almost everything, from Cafes, Bars, Restaurants , tourist informations , Museum ,supermarket and shopping center. And  if you are are aiming for a Mall in Reykjavik , there is Kringlan which is about 10 minutes drive from the Hostel . People who loves to walk , often just walk to reach Kringlan , though it will take about 50 - 60 minutes walk and it is quite an adventure !

Guests at B47 can easily visit Sundhöllin , the swimming pool with hot tub and sauna is just beside the Hostel .
